Description: This webinar is geared towards students and professionals curious about the process of how to answer the call for research abstracts for professional conferences. We'll cover the basics of what to include in the abstract, and some common errors. Then, we'll discuss the review process and how decisions are made. The info session will include tips and pointers for poster formatting if you're accepted!

Continuing Education Fees

OPHA members pay no cost to attend and receive CE credits provided by OPHA. OPHA provides continuing education to Oklahoma CHWs at no cost - thank you for your work improving Oklahoma's communities! All other attendees will be invoiced $15 per credit hour upon event registration.

Continuing Education Attendance & Evaluation Policy

OPHA offers professional development opportunities and pursues approvals from credentialing bodies to offer continuing education. OPHA strives to meet the standards and competencies of credentialing agencies, and therefore attendance at an OPHA CE event does not guarantee credit. CE-seeking attendees must complete our credits and attendance certificate survey, linked here and on OPHA's homepage, for each event so that OPHA's Continuing Education Committee can ensure attendance, demonstrated learning, and provide requested CE event certificates to attendees on a quarterly basis. CE credits are ultimately awarded to participant by credentialing agency/body upon event and survey completion and the attendee reporting our provided activities.
