CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE) COMMITTEE

OPHA's Continuing Education (CE) Committee led by OPHA's Administrator, Tracy Freudenthaler, PhD, MPH, MCHES. Dr. Freudenthaler hosts and schedules CE Committee meetings quarterly.

Committee Members

OPHA members with certifications – such as CHES, LSW, CPH, etc – are welcome to join the Continuing Education Committee. OPHA currently offers CPH and (M)CHES credits, but will explore expanding our offerings to include Licensed Social Work (LSW) and other credits in the near future.

CE Committee Objectives

• Maintain procedural standards and content quality for NCHEC Multi-Event Provider (MEP) status.
• Review submitted requests for CE credits.
• Review and approve submitted requests for CE credits to be offered with OPHA activities.
• Create and distribute approved CE credits on a quarterly basis.
• Plan CE credit offerings for OPHA's annual conference in conjunction with the Conference Committee.
• Report approved CE credits to appropriate credentialers.
