MEMBERSHIP


Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of OPHA! Any and all public health students, professionals, and organizations from a variety of professional settings – including, but not limited to, college and universities, state agencies, clinical care, research, tribal public health services, and nonprofits – are welcome to become a member of OPHA. Further, OPHA values the lived experiences and identities of all people, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, geographic location, or socioeconomic circumstance. All are welcome to join OPHA and the more than 1,100 members we serve.

OPHA offers both individual and group memberships. All members, whether signing up as an individual or through their organization's group membership, receive the same benefits, listed below. Organizations who provide their students, employees, and leadership sponsored membership by becoming a group member receive additional benefits, also listed below. OPHA membership is annual, and renewal is based on sign up date.

Dues & Renewal

For individuals signing up, OPHA offers a 1-year $65 membership , a $110 sustaining or 2-year membership, and a 1-year $25 discount membership for students, retirees, community health workers (CHWs), and low-income individuals. No proof is needed to receive the discount membership. Group membership is calculated by summing the total number of individual members covered and applying a 25-45% discount. All members, whether individual or group, renew their membership annually. Members will receive an email prompting them to renew with instructions on how to do so!
