MEMBERSHIP

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of OPHA! Any and all public health students, professionals, and organizations from a variety of professional settings – including, but not limited to, college and universities, state agencies, clinical care, research, tribal public health services, and nonprofits – are welcome to become a member of OPHA. Further, OPHA values the lived experiences and identities of all people, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, geographic location, or socioeconomic circumstance. All who support OPHA's mission to protect public health in Oklahoma through education, practice, and advocacy are welcome to join OPHA and the 1,000 members we serve.

OPHA offers both individual and group memberships. All members, whether signing up as an individual or through their organization's group membership, receive the same benefits, listed below. Organizations who provide their students, employees, and leadership sponsored membership by becoming a group member receive additional benefits, also listed below. OPHA membership is annual, and renewal is based on sign up date.

Dues & Renewal

Updates to OPHA's dues and group member discounts were approved by the 2025-2026 Board of Directors and took effect as of July 1, 2026. All members, whether individual or group, renew their membership annually. Members will receive an email with step-by-step instructions to renew online approximately one month before their membership is set to renew.

OPHA offers several membership types and rates, listed below. Dues values listed are per person. No proof is needed to receive the discounted memberships.

1-year, $75 membership
1-year, $90 supporting membership (includes a $15 tax-deductible donation to "support" OPHA)
2-year, $140 membership
1-year, $50 discount membership for community health workers (CHWs) and early career professionals (ECPs)
1-year, $30 discount for students and low-income individuals

OPHA also offers Group membership and tiered discounts for groups of two or more. All information, including discount rates, how we calculate dues, and our application, are listed on the group memberships page.
