2026 CONFERENCE Planning for OPHA's 2026 conference is underway! Please stay tuned for event details, registration, exhibiting and sponsorship opportunities, calls for presenters, research abstracts, and awards, and much more. OPHA's 2026 Conference will be in Tulsa, OK, dates, location, and time TBA. Call for Speakers & Research Abstracts Our 2025 call for speakers and abstracts received the largest amount of submissions in over 4 years! We anticipate opening our call for session speakers and research abstracts around March of 2026. You do not have to be a member of OPHA to submit an abstract, but you must be a member to present if accepted. All presenters must register for the conference. Please note that conference registration fees are NOT waived for presenters. Student Poster Contest & Winners OPHA's Student Poster Contest is back and here to stay! The 2025 conference included a student poster contest with cash prizes and recognition at our annual awards ceremony on Monday, September 15th. Prizes included $500 for 1st Place, $300 for 2nd Place, $200 for 3rd Place, and $100 for People's Choice. This year's cash prizes are generously funded through donations from OPHA’s Board Giving Fund. Students, your ideas and passion are what drive public health forward. Keep learning, keep growing—and know that your contributions matter! Conference Awards OPHA offers conference awards each year to celebrate and uplift public health professionals who are positively impacting public health outcomes and practice in Oklahoma. Please anticipate conference awards submissions opening in late spring 2026. Not all categories may have recipients each year.
Continuing Education OPHA offered at total of 10 hours CPH and CHES credits (NCHEC provider #101897) at our 2025 conference. We anticipate a offering a similar number of hours for our 2026 conference. Host Public Health Program, College, or University In an effort to uplift and spotlight the numerous public health programs across the state, we hold our annual conferences on site with a host public health program, college, or university! This year's host is TBA. Conference Hotel Conference hotel TBA. Exhibit & Sponsor OPHA’s annual conference is the state’s premier convening for public health students, professionals, and organizations to learn from one another and strengthen the workforce, while also serving as a primary source of earned revenue to OPHA's year-round operations, including scholarships, staffing, and member services. Exhibit table and sponsoring levels and benefits will be available in February 2026.
